Recommended small jet for a longtime GA prop pilot

No choice but the CJ4 atm due to Boost Pump bug in the Longitude unless you can stand the constant beeping sound.

If you need a livery to modernize the CJ4 a bit this should fix you up:

Wont effect performance at all and works with the avionics mods

CJ4 with the WT mod is a lot of fun. A great little jet to fly.

I agree with the other comment that the TBM is also a good step up on your way to a jet. It can max out at 610 km/h at 28,000 feet. Cruise is at about 470km/h.

I see them every now and then coming in on approach when the 23’s are active. When the 5’s are in use, they’re already too high or turned away before they fly over my area.

I give you three options:

  • TBM, turboprop but a nice transition
  • CRJ (payware)
  • CJ4 (free and modded)

I am really missing the E170-195 (please dont even come close to the one on the store as is horrible) but there is one study level coming.

Might me a bit more for an old-timer. Is there a way to use the GTN750, or the G1000 mod? or G3000? I am more used to flying with Garmins.

The Longuidude has a Garmin glass cockpit.

If you want a small jet, the Mario Noriega Caproni-Vizzola C22J Ventura is exactly that. It’s also VERY good and is dirt cheap - something around 10 bucks.
