Is there a way to record a video from outside the aircraft while flying? I want to record the aircraft while landing but not from the pilot POV (cockpit) but rather from the ground while looking at the aircraft
There used to be the Replay option from the experimental tab but it isn’t there anymore

Have you considered using a 3rd party recording add on? I can highly recommend the free Sky Dolly: dead simple to use, no noticeable effect on the sim and it is very robust.
I’ve tried that in-sim recording option twice, and both times it crashed my sim. That was a while back so perhaps its better now, but as you say there are third party alternatives that are widely used by content makers on YT, and produce great results as far as I could see.
Yes there is, but you need to modify the aircraft own camera file by setting initialXyz =
Outside the cockpit. the first moves number move the view along the X axis
For example for classic c172 if default is initialXyz = 0.03, change to 3.03 will put you out of the cockpit on the right now in the file placing - before 3.03 will put you on the airplanes leftside
With the view controller you can go around the plane but but when you move into the cockpit it will get stuck there, how to get out just open camera setting in game and reset position and you will be outside again.
Also translate view is handy to move around and find good view set for video.
