This camera can be useful , for steering an aircraft around a crowded apron for example.
The flight instrument graphics, I M H O, are pure “Arcade Game” and have no place in a
proper Simulator.
At least a "serious pilot " should be able to switch off this instrument display.
Having seen “casual gamers” on YouTube lurching around the sky trying to fly an aircraft using
this camera, it occurs to me that without this display such people might be encouraged to learn fly an aircraft properly.
A “serious pilot” can turn off the “arcade game” instruments on the external camera view.
I fly with the external camera view almost exclusively with no instruments and no windows open. I might duck back into the cockpit now and then to check stuff. It is just the way I like to enjoy the scenery. Mind you I’m not a “serious pilot” 
You can, it’s an option you can toggle off.
The showcase camera has no which UI, but you cannot fly the aircraft with that camera.
yeah dude… that whole “serious pilot” thing sounds comical with respect to who is and who is NOT flying using this game (I mean, sim). I too, fly about 70% of the time in external view. I’m here for the visuals. Not a tight “a” cockpit view that affords me none of the visuals I paid $25,0000 for a new GPU for… LOL (just kidding on that… I have a GTX 1660).
