This sort of thing might already exist, and flightsim.to is pretty close to this, esp in respect of freeware, but it would be great to have a comprehensive searchable register or database of all payware and freeware third-party add-ons available for MSFS.
I often find myself planning a flight and wondering if there’s any little scenery enhancement I could grab or something. By the time I’ve searched around the place, it’s taken me ages, and I loose flying time as a result.
You can use the MS Marketplace, contrails.shop (for better price) or simmarket. With all this website, you can see the great majority of payware addon for MSFS.
Some good suggestions there. It would even make a difference if you could see what was available in MS Marketplace outside of MSFS itself, just so you can compare between places. The problem with the Marketplace is the time it takes to launch MSFS if you’re only interested in looking…
I don’t think there is something like a global database with all payware and freeware, unfortunately. What I do for my flights, I guess you might also do it similar, is to just quickly search in Flightsim.to with the ICAO if there is something there and as well in Simmarket. I basically use these two websites
