I am having the same problem at the moment. I removed all Nvidia drivers and used the one Windows installed. You get a warning in MSFS that its out of date though. But so far no stutters or freezes.

I’m currently with 546.01 and I had the same issue also with two previous Nvidia drivers. Can’t recall atm exact versions but most likely 536.40 and another 536.xx version. I’ve used the same driver as with SU13 but issue manifested only with SU14. I did the drivers upgrades as part of the attempt identify if it’s driver related which for me it is not. Even if it’s a driver issue, it means SU14 triggers it. Rolling back to a very old version is not a real solution of course. Nvidia is working closely with major game developers to ensure proper synergy between the game engine and the driver. Both are constantly changing and require improvements and tuning on the other side to ensure smoothness and performance.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

Yes
Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:

Using a DX12, RTX 3090, HAGS off, 6-8 different NVidia drivers.
Heavy freezes mostly at approach, sometimes in menus.
1-2 minutes freezes interrupted by 20 secs of gameplay.
Longest freeze was about 7 minutes.

Brief description of the issue:

sometimes the sim freezes for a short amount of time, but much longer than a stutter. During this time GPU usage drops to 0. This did never happen on SU13.

This has already been created as a bug; please review previous posts and vote there.

Okay, voted. Was not sure if it is the same thing. Maybe it could be merged?

Im my case I found out, that it has to do with bluetooth:

I use a microsoft BT mouse and chinese no-name BT keyboard.
A keyboard status LED often blinks, showing disconnect/connect activity.
Turning off the keyboard while a freeze did not bring MSFS back to life imitedialy, but after a couple of seconds.

I use a MSI mainboard of the latest generation with intel chipset and on-board WiFi an BT.
I disabled the BT chip and connected a USB BT dongle. Not a cheap chinese one, but a good brand, bought it on amazon (can provide the type/link, if somebody wants to check)

No freezes since then (2 days - let’s cross fingers…)

I mentioned this in another post - this build ( 1.35.19.0) is causing me some very bad problems. I have encountered very long pauses to the point that I thought it crashed.
Today i tried again and had a stutter fest - not sure what has happened, but this build is way worse for performance compared to the last one. I will get a video together.
In the previous Beta I was happily hitting around 60fps, all looking acceptable to me, no pauses.

FullScreenResolution 3840 2160
AntiAliasing DLSS
DLSSMode AUTO
DLSSG 1
Reflex OFF
FSRMode BALANCED

Try restarting your PC see if that helps. Sometimes things get stuck after a new uodate

yeah - i am testing - i did try a restart. Tried again today…the only difference is the last update. I will keep trying, frustrating - it was performing so well through out this beta.
