The question is in the title. Is it possible to install again MSFS without having to copy the 10 DVDs (about 3 hours) ? With the first DVD being mounted I wish to launch the install via Microsoft Store. Yes or Not ?

I have done that and yes it is possible. But you have to put the 1st DVD when you start MSFS (or copy the ISO on your HDD).
Easy : MS Stores, my bibliothek select Flight Simulator (Basis) install.And Digital ownership install.
2021 it make no sense to install the DVDs , because you still need 80 GB Updates.

You can shorten the install:
Break the Package download after some x00 MB.
Then copy a backup from your old Package/Office/OneStore directory to the new position.
Then MSFS App will perfect search wrong and missing items , and download only these.

Thank you for answering. I launched the process this morning and it seems to be OK. After I want to uninstall MSFS from the old PC and I will do this from MS Store installed on this old PC. I guess no interference is to be expected (MS Store with the same Microsoft account on two different PC) ?

Thank you for the idea. With the fiber and the PC directly connected to the box I need only 1 hour to download 50 GB this procedure is not needed but it might be the case if I was obliged to use a router (the speed is then divided by 10).

MSFS settings are synchroniced between all your installations.
Uninstall for all StoreApps is done by WIN settings Apps/Programms. (not with the Store)
MSFS may be installed up to 10 times, but can only run one at the same time , managed by the Xbox App.

My interrogation was not so stupid as if the settings are not OK interference may occur between the 2 PCs. In fact I don’t want any synchronization between PCs linked to my account via onedrive. What can I do to suppress this eventuality ? May I completely disable onedrive ? I guess it will not be possible.

Its not synchronisied by OneDrive . It is done by the start of the MSFS App.
In my opition it is not possible to jump over it. Al PC Installation are synced. XBOX-Console I dont know.

Does it mean that both MSFS must always be in the same state ? But I want to suppress MSFS from the old PC (temperatures > 90 °C). I don’t understand why this suppression could not be possible without consequences on the MSFS running on new PC. It’s very confusing.

What do you mean with "suppress " ? You can uninstall MSFS on your old PC or change grafic setting to low.
But playing on the new you have to change in to high again. Up to know you have only ONE setting for all you PCs installations. For some personal preferences this makes more sence, for performance setting less…

Thank you for your answer: I think I understand better. Potential problems may only occur if MSFS is installed on both computers. My idea was to uninstall completely MSFS from the old PC essentially because of temperatures very high (maximum greater than 90 °C). In the case of one uninstall there is no more problem.
