Hi All and, before I begin, Merry Christmas wherever you are.
So, my question relates to a need to reinstall MSFS2024.
When I originally installed MSFS2024 through the xbox app back in late November, a notification appeared at the beginning of the app which stated that I had three installations on my license and I would use one every time I needed to do a fresh install. At the time, this seemed rather odd and I just accepted the prompt and continued with the installation.
Now, almost one month later, I have experienced so many bugs and issues that I have decided the best way forward is to do a complete new installation.
Having paid almost £100 for MSFS2024, I don’t want to ‘use up one of my lives’ by reinstalling before I check with everyone on the forum to see if there is something that users are meant to do to uninstall FS2024 first to ensure that they do not lose a license life.
I do hope this all makes sense. As I say, the prompt appeared as I was installing and I didn’t make a note of the exact phrase.
I need to reinstall MSFS2024 over the holidays so any help would be gratefully received. If nobody has experienced this issue then I will contact Microsoft and post an update here on the forum to assist everyone.
