OMG!
I bought it. The packege does include the full Mk1A package! The other two included addon packages/versions are a bonus for me (since I already own the Mk1A through JustFlight).
It makes me super excited that there is a possibility that Aeroplane Heaven might release something similar for their P-51D - that would be absolutly marvelous.
Very new to all this so please be gentle. Iāve downloaded the Mk1A but on watching Youtube videos related to startup I see that the throttle quadrant appears to be the later version (prop control on the right) whereas mine is the push/pull plunger (on the left). I donāt want to completely lose the option of this but would like to switch to the other version too - can I achieve this please? Iām in the same aircraft livery as all the YouTube videos (X4590 PR-F) but canāt figure out what Iām missing!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi,
Iām not sure who youāre hoping to be speaking too? The Aeroplane Heaven folk never come here, and weāre just users. Iām not at my sim computer, but, Iām going to imagine thereās only the one configuration available.
I suggest going to the Aeroplane Heaven site and logging a ticket. They might answer you. Have you read the manual?
Hi there and thanks for buying. The Mk1A was initially produced with a three blade, constant pitch propeller. However, the first batch had a āpush-pullā control for pitch, using a Bowden cable and a knob as shown in your pic. It is just possible that we have inadvertently put the earlier VC into the later Mk1A models. Please contact our help desk with your issue and you will get more answers that way. We need to know what sim 2020 or 2024 you are flying, which package you bought⦠Early Years (triple pack) or just the Mk1A and Xbox or PC.
Apologies. I have put you wrong there. The prop pitch control shown is correct for the Mk1A. Very late 1As and the MkII had the lever type. So carry on chaps.

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply.
Iām aware of the earlier push-pull, and itās really not an issue (just intriguing) - I was hoping Iād missed something simple and someone would say ājust click thisā and I could move between the earlier and later layouts. I purchased the AH Mk1a through JustFlight (the screenshots on there have the later throttle quadrant too) and flying on a PC in MSFS2020. Iām just being fussy because the 3D printed throttle quadrant is the later version and I keep reaching in the wrong place to adjust propellor pitch
Anyway, thank you very much for re-creating such a beautiful aircraft, itās been hours of fun already. Iāll not clog up this forum anymore and contact AH directly as youāve suggested.
All the best
