I was going to suggest this a little while back as well, but thought I’d given enough “suggestions” so I shut it.
However, since the topic has opened up again…it does seem to jitter too much and it could use a smoothing filter. If possible, make it user configurable so users can adjust the strength of the smoothing filter, thereby preserving your original intent but also letting users control the level of jitter vibrations.
Similar to how Asobo implemented the turbulence setting recently, but a slider makes it a little more granular.
