I believe if the hardware is plugged in they will get automatically mapped

I really need to find an idiot proof step by step. I have a two little beige folders on my desktop one zipped and one not. Ive tried to extract all but nothings working
On YouTube Simhanger does a episode on configuring both if I remember correctly and he is very good.

first of all do not take my recommendation as a way to offend you.
From what I can read it sounds to me you have a lack of basic understanding how a PC works. And this is totally understandable since you are coming from a different ecosystem. And it is very difficult to teach you via forum posts in a flight sim forum.
Personally I would recommend you are looking for someone in your region that could come to your home and explain you some basics. This Person could also install the package for you.
This way you can also learn some of the basics regarding your new system. Maybe a friend, family member or some it company.
This will increase the joy with the PC in the long run. On top of this you might run into issues with the next purchase. Installation methods might be different depending on the product. Sometimes it is only copy and paste into the community folder, sometimes you have to run an installer like in this case. On top it might be different if you are running FS2020 or FS2024.
Even if you have only FS2024 you might run into issues if you use the FS2020 installer/version.

No offense at all Iām clueless with PC stuff. Ive been asking friends and family if they know anyone that can help. The guy at Just Flight has been really nice. How would I go about finding said someone to help me out. Any recommendations?? thanks for your help

I learned pretty much everything I know about flight sims, grear, bindings and flying on YouTube. I already had a good background in computers. Ask someone here to recommend good starting videos, or even ask ChatGpt to recommend good videos to start with. Once you get started you will learn who makes the best training videos and it is just a matter of putting in the time.
I use Google Gemini for most of my bindings questions - not always the right answer but always points me in the right direction if it doesnāt have the specific info. Itās surprisingly good at telling you how to setup everything, even specifics about VKB Gunfighter button assignments.

Well you could use google to find an IT company close to you. Or maybe ask the company you bought the PC from. In case it was a local one.
Anyhow this is getting a bit to off topic in this post. Especially since it is not related to the product itself.

If you have any friends, etc. That you trust, they might be able to remote into your pc with something like Go To Assist and either hold your hand or even do it for you. Just a thoughtā¦

Hi Everyoneā¦ First I wanted to thank everyone for your kindness and professionalism in trying to answer my questions. Not quite sure how my wife and I did it but I got in on the sim and have been flying her. In all this I realized I need to take some time to learn the PC much better and I truly appreciate all the adviceā¦.Tim

Is anyone else seeing the starship and Bonanza dropping from Enabled to Disabled state in Library after MSFS 24 is restarted?
I havenāt noticed that but upon purchasing the starship, baron and Bonanza only the baron showed for me in free flight. I did several Xbox restarts all to no avail they would not show. If I went to my library and manually disabled then re enabled them, then they would show. But upon sim restart I would have to do the same process again. Only way to stop having to do this every session for me was to install them and now they always show in free flight.
I was also annoyed after all this time waiting for the black square releases coming to Xbox to not have the bundle option available within MSFS 2024 market place. So have paid full price for both bonanza and baron.
Yes that is exactly what Iām seeing. So unlikely to be my end of backed account database specific then.
Something up with the marketplace/library state on the servers.

Is there any known workaround to have the chocks properly deployed when loading in?
Not at the moment. When the plane loads in, the sim is still doing a lot of messing around with wind and air temperature and aircraft placement, so it jitters around enough to have the chocks automatically removed (any movement will remove them). I canāt remember if Nick said he was going to try a workaround or not, or see if Asobo changes the loading logic.
