Fsadni does simple freeware planes that definitely aren’t for the deep systems realism crowd, but are fun if you just want to jump in the cockpit of a Vulcan or Devastator and pretend you’re flying a significant historic plane.
His latest release is the Avro Vulcan B2. It’s not going to keep the guys developing the Just Flight Vulcan up late at night, but if you want to jump in the plane for some flights over England or the Falklands, it’s a fun diversion!
Thnak you that introduction. Yeah you’re quite right. My stuff don;t appeal to everyone but I am having fun creating them with the little knowledge that I have. Yes they will never match any payware. Thats never been my aim.
Not everyone can afford to spend fortunes on payware. I try to take care of that. You either love them or you hate them.
Thanks for all the great stuff you’ve shared, @Fsadni! I appreciate all the hard work you’ve done.
My comments about the complexity etc. were to head off the rivet counters looking for things to complain about online, not any criticism of the aircraft. You’ve given folks the chance to get an idea what it’d be like to fly some awesome planes (I don’t expect a study-level TBD Devastator any time soon!), and that’s awesome.
Love how the Vulcan flies! Been watching your stuff since the Hurricane and it’s been fun watching the planes get better and better.
Oh no. I took it all as a compliment mate. Like I said I enjoy doing what I do. But you know what its like someone will always find something to whine about. Military aircraft have always been my passion and they are not everyones cup of tea. But I can fairly say that I was the first to bring them to MSFS. Now everyone is jumping on the wagon. Oddly enough I contacted Just Flight 3 years ago when I first bought the design and they told me they were converting their own from xplane. I assume thats the one they will be releasing at some point.
