[released] FSReborn FSR500

Fun little story you told with that flight, looks like a blast. I too would be interested in state saving documentation. I’ve gathered that anything related to the measurable failure/maintenance parameters in the EFB have state saving across all bundled liveries, auxiliary things like switch/knob positions in the cockpit do not, and circuit breakers are a bit of a wild card - something to always be double checking.

Thanks this has helped me it just seems to be larger airports but I know this is issue with the SIM and effects many aircraft. Thankyou :+1: super work the FSR is the best on the marketplace for Xbox users

It’s really fun to try and remember which events I’ve assigned to the Alpha/Bravo switches, levers, and buttons for the multitude of different airplanes I fly. I came up with a clever hack for the Bravo AP switches (which I shared in the Home Cockpit subforum) but those little Alpha switches are still a mystery sometimes. Some planes have strobes, some don’t. Some have taxi lights, some don’t. So I use those two switches for something like wipers, or defrost. Never let a switch go to waste, I always say.

I just found out about the ‘text-to-speech’ ability in SPAD, which should help.

Point is, using peripherals in this sim always demands compromise, adaptability, and sometimes a fat wallet. It doesn’t hurt to want a better, more lifelike reverser, but I’m pretty happy that I need to remember that when I pull the little lever thingy back, and push the throttle forward, I get reverse thrust.

What to do about the fuel temp reaching critical lvl? Descent a little?

Yes, when fuel temp reaches 36c to 37c descend to keep it lower than 35c.

Fantastic, thanks and thank you with every fiber of my being to make my Xbox x useable again with this fantastic plane! Phenom buy reserver from here

I realize this is more of a Navigraoh problem, but does anyone else have a recurring problem with Navigraph requiring you to re-login? It can be particularly disruptive when it happens on the FSR500. For me after I scan the QR code on the G1000 and approve the device, the g1000 becomes useless, with the screen flashing the QR code page and unable to switch pages on the unit.

I reported it no Navigraph and they are investigating.

So what you’re saying is my wife is wrong, and I don’t imagine things . . .

If you use the excellent fuel temp charts included within the manual you should be able to plan your route to avoid getting in to this situation

Blink twice if she’s standing behind you!

“plan”?

Not too familiar with this term

Thanks, it was pretty fun although for a VFR pilot seeing those clouds thicken can make for some nervous moments. Also, when I landed I had a lot less than an hour of reserve fuel!

Yes, I had reached a similar understanding after a couple of flights.

It would be cool if the aircraft remembered that you didn’t follow the shutdown checklist correctly and left some switches set wrong.

I would also like it if the G1000 remembered how it was configured when shut down. I almost exclusively depart from the same location where I had previously landed, so having the COM and NAV frequencies retained would be nice. I’m not sure if that’s possible with the WT G1000, or if the real hardware retains its settings when powered down.

If that were true we would have all been banned long ago for not using our full names, as verified by a public notary, in triplicate

Bought this yesterday. Absolutely magnificent. Had an hour or so flight between LOWI and LOWW and it was everything I wanted it to be! This takes the place of Kodiak for me now!
