Update on my issue: deleted the aircraft from the content manager and downloaded it again. A simple fix to a frustrating issue. Finally got to fly it! I did have a CTD mid-air on my first test flight, but no issues on my second flight. Progress!

There is an onboard checklist. Turn battery master on and press the Home button on the small lower right display. Click Checklist and it will appear on the larger primary displays. You can scroll through the checklist with the righter knob below the small lower right display, and checkmark a specific checklist item by right-clicking the knob.

As far as I’m aware there is no auto-complete checklist function, but this aircraft is pretty much set up in such a way that everything is ready to go. Hope this helps.

In case someone doesn’t know, you can also scroll through the checklist and checkmark the items by scrolling or pressing the button on the left side of the yoke.

Make sure the parking brakes are set to ON. Even in the cold and dark cockpit state, you will hear the GPU whirring outside as soon as the parking brakes are engaged. You’ll be able to switch to external power as soon as you hear it.

Unfortunately, the central button does not work for me… Unable to validate

Ok, i’m going to see this now !

Edit : It works, many thanks.

Just purchased and driven it off straight to FL430 and learning it as I go. It is a very sophisticated little aircraft and seems to have been very well done indeed. Kudos to the developer and I feel that this is an aircraft that will last a long time in my hangar. It is fairly simple and very intutive for the GTN crowd to transition onto. Now in Vnav descent and whilst there are still lots of opportunities to screw up, I am hopeful for an uneventful Rnav approach into Gloucester, where I have the choice of celebration. Either a flea in the ear, or to go and mow the lawn.

Excellent checklists on this youtube review by Into the Blue Simulations.

I avoided the flea in the ear and went to mow a meadow, but the thought crossed mymind whilst doing so, that planning a trip with the GTN750xi and seeing if it would work might lead to some amusement and so, just couldnt resist trying it. Bottom line? It works a treat.

Is the VR Cockpit Focus working in this jet?

Nobody said the cockpit textures are bad. Somebody (i.e. me) said that cockpit textures are too low in resolution (while also praising the overall look) which results in blurred and blocky text when zooming in on QHD. And that is a FACT. If you’ve been flying sims for 30 years and you can’t tell the difference between blurred and non blurred text then you want to try looking a bit harder.

Glad you mentioned this. Thought it was something my end.

I’m on xbox and have been disappointed with this aircraft so far. I’ve had crash after crash trying to start at Manchester so I switched to a smaller airport and it stopped crashing. I was unable to start from cold and dark. Some controls cannot be used with the xbox controller for some reason.
Not using the in game checklist was a mistake in my view.
I find it pretty immersion killing that the gpu will wink in and out of existence as I use the parking brake.
The throttle seems to think it knows better than me where it should be set.
When I finally got into the air I found the auto pilot most erratic.
I’m not getting good feelings from this like other people are at all.

Ahh thats a shame. Clocked up around 2000nm in this so far and it’s been perfect for me (PC)

Manchester UK? I flew into it yesterday but didn’t depart. I do have the Macco Addon for EGCC.

Unfortunately not. If possible, join the Discord server and highlight this there. This plane needs some VR attention.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why does it say cruise speed 422 knots but then it gives me overspeed warnings above 270 knots? At first I thought it was because I was below 10000 ft, but I climbed up above that and still get that warning.

As you ascend air gets thinner ,less air entering pitot, speed reads less than at sea level ,but your ground speed will be high.

422 Knots True Air Speed. That’s not Indicated Air Speed which is what you see on the PFD Speed Tape. IAS < TAS. And you’d have to be around FL350 to get that max performance.
