Anyone uses the 146 with gsx here? I saw in one of the patchnotes that you can use gsx for refueling but I can’t seem to get it to work consistently.
I call for refueling, wait for the truck to arrive and set up, and one gsx gives me the go I use the efb to refuel, the truck will begin to refuel the plane, but most of the time it stops after a few seconds and just leaves while the plane keeps getting refueled by some phantom refueler, in other cases it does stick around and completes refueling as it should.
Was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this, I suspect it may be a skill issue on my part as I’m used to having fenix do the gsx stuff for me lol
Finally finished the project I was working on, a 3d printed Bae 146 MCP. Couldn’t be happier with the results! Credit to hcooper for an awesome design.
I flew this yesterday after having a bit of a break from it and found I had a few issues. I flew it for a few hours landing and taking off from various airports along my route. The issues I had were;
Weather radar screen blank
I lost the Nav radio display from the glare shield in that it was working and tuned before the screen went blank
Had GEN 4 light on and selecting GEN 4 votage/amp display showed that it was providing power, as did cycling the GEN 4 switch, showing voltage drop when off. The light went out later in the flight. No failures were set or shown as active on the tablet.
Found the AP would cause porpoising and this has never been an issue previously.
Lost all co pilot callouts after flying for a few hours.
Xbox Series X.
I was able to get The Radar working by reloading the aircraft. It must of been a glitch.
The displays going out for the radio is a general Xbox issue when memory is low. Hopefully 2024 brings the solution.
The Gen 4 light can stay on if the engine starter switch is still on.
I had no issues with the Autopilot yet.
But I’ve never heard the co pilot callouts ever.
Anybody else getting this upon launching a flight?..
EDIT: Hitting the + or - buttons in the top right of the EFB seems to reset the issue, but still interested to know if this is a widespread issue or just me.
EDIT2: The brightness keeps resetting to this default “overkill” setting after a few mins, even after manually changing it, which makes it a bit of pain.
I’ve had issue with the EFB going completely black and not be able to resolve it until I reload the aircraft from the main menu. The only common thread between these issues was using the Navigraph Charts on takeoff. When my aircraft moved off the map the issue occured.
Hi all. We’ve just released a small update for the 146, primarily aimed at fixing the EFB issues. That update is live on our website and will be available on other stores, including the MSFS Marketplace, sometime in the next few days.
v0.2.3 (5/11/24)
EFB brightness/black screen issue (introduced post MSFS AAU3) - Fixed
