Same here, it’s already great in VR but will take any improvements.
Are the engines always starting for you? I struggle from time to time to get them running (and yes, all bindings to mixture are removed).
Really hoping that the new update will fix this as well.
And it just CTD’d on me… which I normally don’t encounter at all ![]()
No issue with engine start.
I had CTD too but it was the airport not the plane.
Hmm, wondering if I’m doing something wrong with the engine start then. Sometimes nr 1 won’t start, but now nr 2-4 didn’t start while nr 1 did… Any clue?
Sorry mate no clue. Maybe post screenshot of your cockpit. Some pro should see what’s wrong.
You need APU Generator turn on. use the wheel for APU Gen on electric panel
Think your ac pump is on
It’s your AC pump… Make sure all your pumps are turned off, I’ve made that same mistake when I got to the stage where I felt I didn’t need a video or the pdf to use as my trainer wheel, I was like… why isn’t my engine turning on… I had left the DC pump on as I needed to retract the airstairs…
Another time it was the AC pump… another time it was because I forgot to turn on the APU as I was just using ground power…
Thx, going to restart everything and try again, with special attention to the pumps.
No, their APU generator is already set to on position.
Their AC pump and PTU are set to off, but DC pump still on.
Thats’the one. DC power is on.
Ohh “hells bells” one of those “T.N.T” days I meant DC not AC, I must have been thinkin about American thighs, got a bit thunder struck and got my AC mixed up with my DC… ‘Flick of the Switch’ on all if your hydrologic pumps before engine start… Luckily they are not 'high voltage… ’
I guess I’ll just “ride on”
You can put someone on a Highway to Hell with that kind of advice! Very well done by the way.
Those BAe 146 can sometimes be a “Problem child”
I was going to say that I would have loved to been a “fly on the wall” when he figured it all out and “Power Up” his BAe-146 but I would have probably sounded like a creepy “Night Prowler”
Mixture Lever assigned? That prevent the engine start pretty often.
i tried kathmandu to paro today, i guess a bit too much for my skills set ![]()
amazing flight though
the departure was stunning, circling over the airport with himalayas in sight
starting the descent, seeing the clouds worried my a lot since i knew what was expecting me
after a disastrous approach i had to go around but finally landed (an horrid one but hey)
Thx all, I now had 3 consecutive good engine starts in a row by watching all the pumps more carefully. So something must have been wrong previously I think!
