I imagine it compares favourably to the M’M Sims version.
Yes, it does. I own M’M’s rendition but this is a different quality level, so it goes into the category of the airports that I own in two renditions. Contrail has a very nice comparison page:
Lisium vs. M’M Simulations: EYVI Vilnius Airport MSFS | Contrail Shop
I was just browsing that Contrail comparison. I must admit, it’s closer than I thought, with certain details done better by M’M. I’d give the overall edge to Lisium but it seems to fall short of the quality of their Riga, and so I doubt I’ll be replacing the M’M version any time soon.
Thanks for the heads up. I also have the M’M one and will reassess once Synaptic’s A220 is out, for AirBaltic flights.
I’m thinking if we saw the same comparison because there is no single screenshot where I would say that M’M’s rendition looks better.
I have M’M EYVI and yesterday I bought the one created by Lisium. I like Lisium much more, it looks more realistic and accurate to me ![]()
My first flight to the airport was from Copenhagen in Aerosoft CRJ-900 and I like the airport a lot, well done Lisium. Also the performance was super smooth.
Everything that matters from the airside looks much better in the Lisium version, I think. Especially the building and ground textures, the satellite image and the night lighting. And the interior definitely too. On the landside, the difference between the two sceneries seems to be less significant, but this area is also less important.
But I’m still trying to find reasons not to buy the airport a second time…
I’m afraid I’ll end up getting it anyway. Probably sooner rather than later. ![]()
What I’m saying is that Lisium’s doesn’t look ‘better’ enough to warrant me buying the airport again. Having looked at Google Maps, Lisium’s ground markings are certainly more accurate overall, but there are areas that M’M actually did more faithfully. M’M’s has an animated train on modelled tracks, which is left to default satellite imagery in Lisium’s. Both devs’ landsides look a little neglected but M’M’s appears to feature a few more vehicles outside the terminal entrances/exits. Lisium’s terminal interior is better and the airfield ortho they used is higher res.
Might be more of a consideration once the Synaptic A220’s released…
I also got it and find it even better than Riga, as more roads and areas have been modelled on the land side compared to Riga, meaning that less standard satellite data is visible. The interior is at least as detailed as Riga and you can explore virtually every corner of the buildings. Only the apron and runways look a little too clean for my taste. Otherwise, I have virtually no major criticisms – great work by Lisium, as already mentioned by mhron.
Lisium need to work on their marketing screenshots. The user screenshots above show it much more favourably! That said, I’m still going to hold onto M’M’s for now as it does the job (one of their better ones, to be honest).
I really liked Riga, though, so if the consensus is that EYVI is at least equal, I’ll get it at some point.
That’s what I thought too. And it’s not the first time that airports look better on my PC than the promo videos and screenshots would suggest. I think there are several reasons for this. Partly, I have the feeling that screenshots and videos are simply recorded on less powerful computers with reduced graphics settings. Then the weather plays a role. As a developer, I would mainly take photos in good weather because shadows and reflections make everything look a bit nicer. And, of course, in my opinion, videos and screenshots should always be recorded in 4K. Last but not least, the angles chosen for the screenshots are often poorly selected, so you don’t get enough of an impression of the details and immersion.

It may look nice - but somehow it seems bugged: can not import the Simbrief flight plan into MSFS2024 with Lisium’s EYVI.
I think these are probably related to expired Navdata issues of the scenery.
Did my first flight into this scenery airport with the PMDG777F - no ILS on 01 transmitting (did not try a 19 approach) - so no capture after arming the ILS Z 01 approach. There are no ground frequencies here - only tower - so no hand-off to ground after vacating the runway with
BATC and also no detailed taxi instructions (taxi on pilots discretion). This was really disappointing and I really expected more.
Also waiting for the promised Riga update to MSFS 2024.
This could be a problem on your end. Vilnius has no ground control IRL, only tower, approach and Vilnius control. And the issue with taxi on pilots discretion is already addressed and fixed and the update will release after Riga update. Regarding ILS and other issues most probably could be on your end, because from what we have seen, anybody who was using the scenery didn’t encounter those issues.![]()
Yes - you are correct - there is only tower - I missed checking that on the chart.
Will test it again for sure with a different, less complex aircraft. I did not experience this with the 777 before.
The Simbrief plan not loading has also never happened before.
Always easy to say, the user is the problem… let’s hope so.
Yes, we are sorry to hear that you are disappointed, we truly care about our customers and always keen for suggestions to make it worth every penny. We really hope you can fix this issue, if not you can reach out in our Lisium discord server to further diagnose this issue. ![]()
Cool - thanks for the active support, reassurance and feedback - I am confident now that everything else will work, as it should ![]()
So no problem.
Will do some hopping around Vilnius in the T210N tomorrow and test the facilities more diligently.
Maybe the asterisk next to the ILS frequency indicates that it is not always available or needs certain conditions - if that is realistically implemented and the ILS frequency was not active at the time of my arrival then this would be an amazing feature and not an actual “bug” - in that case the realism has caught me out…
Ok - here we go after testing again: my findings above have been proven to be false apart from the known issues that have been mentioned to be fixed with next update.
ILS working fine in both directions - also tested again in the 777 and now it works fine. Simbrief Plan was also loaded into the sim this time without issues.
The only small quirk I found was the dual windsocks on the 01 side. 19 did not have this issue. (Riga also has dual windsocks issue on both sides). All these are insim Marketplace versions.
After checking, I am very happy with the purchase of the scenery and also with the quick dev response. It also has great performance in VR.
Glad to hear! Happy flying🙃
