[Released on PC and Xbox] DC Designs Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde

I thought Jack’s remark related to use of the GNS530 mod but I was skimming so perhaps I’m wrong.

And the GTN750

I purchased this through marketplace.. no sign of an update there. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same issues. Am I doing something wrong, or not released via marketplace yet?

Marketplace takes weeks to approve a patch so you’ll have to wait.

Never uninstall and reinstall Marketplace content to check for an update. Your Content Manager in the sim will show you when an update is ready for your products, and remember, the Marketplace ALWAYS takes longer to get updates out than a private third-party site.

Just completed a flight from Bournemouth to Edinburgh in VR.
Fantastic, Concorde - scenery tremendous evening flight. I’m 60 and have been flight simming from the start.
I would dream of the things we can do now.
Congratulations to the developers.

no, i’m openly and directly blaming to GTN750 mod

but it gives me absolute laziness to have to go and tell the creator of the mod to change the path of his custom navsystem.js

I’m sorry, but can anybody please give me a heads-up? I was proud the other day to have managed to get Concord to Mach 2.06 from EGLL towards KJFK. (Even though the engines quit somwhere over Gander for some reason. Apparently out of fuel even though I haven’t used reheat all that much. Don’t know what happened, but oh well.)

Anyway, now I tried again (after SU9?) and I can’t get the rearward fuel transfer to adjust the CG to work. Before, I rather had problems making it stop. I read about fuel system problems in the last couple of posts, but don’t understand whether they’re related to my problems or something else. Maybe someone can explain?

Yes, the fuel system problems we have been talking about for the last day are related to your problem.

Thank you. sigh Too bad. Still, a big thank you to the DC Design devs.

Concorde rarely reached Mach 2 or FL600 - there is a bit of an obsession with getting there, which results in climbing too high and using too much power, resulting in the fuel running out

Follow the interactive checklist to ensure you climb correctly, topping out initially around FL500 and maybe Mach 1.8-1.9, then slowly climbing and accelerating over the next hour or so to creep up to max operating Mach and altitude. If Concorde makes Mach 2, rarely on the JFK routing due to a warmer atmosphere, she will only do it at the end of the route when lighter as the fuel’s burned off.

Thank you Dean. I will surely try again once the fuel transfer is fixed.

The newest update (released on JustFlight today and hopefully on the Marketplace “soon”™ does a good job of fixing the worst fuel transfer issues (forward/aft). Jack will be tweaking specific flow rates I’m sure after more people are flying and he has more time to learn exactly what SU9 changed/broke.

Can you download the patch from the website even though you bought the aircraft on the marketplace!

If you bought from the Marketplace, you’ll see an update available in your Content Manager when the product is updated and ready to download. You cannot update it from the JustFlight site.

On a different topic, I heard Jorg specifically address the SU9 issues with Concorde in the Developer Q&A discussion posted today, but it’s disappointing to hear him say he was unaware of the bug I specifically created right after the first Beta, nor the fuel transfer bug which has been extensively discussed these last few days (and mentioned by me and several others in the thread for many weeks as well. Why do we (users) report bugs to MS/Asobo if they don 't even acknowledge them?

To his credit, Jorg said there appears to be a hole in their process - well, yeah. Hopefully that hole can be closed soon.

Have to check that, but using that load page what the default loading of the concorde corresponds to? Just wonders what would be the correct value for a hypothetical full plane

Just downloaded 1.0.5 on xbox. Looks good so far.

EDIT: All is not well on xbox. Fuel only seems to flow into tank 5 from tank 9, or is not evenly transfering into tanks 5 and 7. Also, fuel can’t be pumped from tank 10 into tanks 5 and 7. I think this is the primary issue that’s been discussed and addressed by a hotfix.

Since the latest update SU9 I cannot capture the GS the LOC seems to work…anyone else? Seems like the usal one step forward two back :grinning:

I think it did get to M2 but not FL600…

Seems to work ok for me. Did you try different airports? Sometimes the problem is the airport. And don’t just assume a bug just because something doesn’t go as expected…
