El Tehuelche Airport is a domestic airport located approximately 10 km northwest of downtown Puerto Madryn, in the province of Chubut. It was inaugurated on July 8, 1946, as part of the First Five-Year Plan, with the express objective of connecting Patagonia to the rest of the country.
