If you’re flying a long final on autopilot following the ILS glideslope, just adjust your speed to where your nose is just a degree or two above the horizon. Once you reach minimums and cut the AP, you can slowly pull the power back to idle as you ease back on the stick to flare. Once the mains are down, tap the brakes to lower the nose, then full brakes once all three wheels are planted.
