[Released] SF50 Vision Jet G2

I’m not currently using AT. I use manual throttle. I already know there’s an issue with the AT keybind and it’s an issue with the plane itself.

Are you reducing power like you’re supposed to to prevent engine damage?

Also, you can turn on AT by clicking the button in the center console.

I’ve had no issue with AT functionality

I tried searching, so please forgive me if I’ve missed something. The Marketplace screenshots show visible flight crew figures, but my cockpit is still empty. I’d like to be able to see my copilot if at all possible.

I don’t have issue with AT either when using the button in the VC.

What I have issue with is the TAS in the G3000 not working. Now several people are seeing it, including CasualClick.

TAS works for me with the AT engaged.

Now, I haven’t yet done any Honeycomb troubleshooting so your issue may lie elsewhere and I am just learning these systems so I don’t know if that will even help you.

But with AT and auto speed, it sets climbs to 165 kts on my gear, or with MAN you can select your speed. I am not sure it even works if you set your speed with the throttle lever.

Still such a new plane I haven’t tried everything with it yet. But outside of a hardware issue (and with your setup that is as likely as anything), that would be my first guess.

I don’t understand how auto-throttle and displaying traffic on the G3000 would be related. That’s kind of like your windshield wipers on your car not working because your radio is turned off.

Oof. I have been doing a workshop all day. Stepped out for a break and got my acronyms mixed up!

Don’t mind me. I got confused.

TAS = Traffic Avoidance System. It’s what shows other planes on the traffic page.

I suspect more folks are having this issue and just aren’t realizing it.

Today this thread is full of talk of TAS and GPUs and I hear other things when BOTH are mentioned in a MSFS context!

:joy:

I think folks got confused (me too) because True Air Speed and Traffic Avoidance System use the same acronyms. Following Department of Defense writing rules, I will try to remember to spell out the acronym first time, so subsequent mentions in the same post are in context.

On the MFD or PFD? It works fine on the PFD

It’s a lot of acronyms to keep track of indeed. lol

Thanks anyways for the attempted help.

It’s been hit or miss on the PFD in the small traffic inset. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t. It’s consistently reproducible in 100% of flights for me on the MFD. Initially it works (it should be initially switched off when you’re on the ground). Then once you get in the air, it switches off and can’t be re-enabled.

National Defence in Canada does the same. And I’ve been working there for nearly 30 years, so should know better and should have been clearer in my initial post.

I’m not having any issues with it like you’re reporting.

Have you tried it while airborne or on the ground only?

Both. 10char

Lucky you then.

I have the latest WT G3000 mod if that helps any. I’m one of the ones without working TAS.

The plane incorporates a custom version of the WT G3000. Even if you didn’t have the WT mod installed, it would still show you the WT G3000 in the Vision. I don’t think that’s related in any way.

Really great airplane! Just one thing I don‘t understand. I always get an „oxygen off“ warning just after takeoff. Fresh air switch is set to bleed air, cabin is climbing, cabin differecial pressure is in the green. Therefor I shouldn‘t get an oxygen warning. Any ideas?
