Somebody really likes their blur filter 
Any idea how long before it appears outside of the Marketplace?
That’s hardly debatable, the extra sales they will get through Xbox will be incentive enough for any dev.
It does look cool sometimes, but as a hobby photographer I really wish we could adjust the amount of background blur, because there is no sensor/lens/aperture combination in real life, that I know of, that would produce that much blur at those focal lengths.
Latest word is that there are no plans to sell it outside the Marketplace in the forseeable future. For the time being it’s going to be a Marketplace exclusive.

I kind of knew that but was still hoping there would be a change of plan. Like many others if it is Marketplace only then I simply cannot buy it unfortunately.

Why can’t you buy it on MP?
I chose not to buy on the Marketplace. This one, although it looks fantastic and is just what I like to fly comes with too many variants and paints which is always a turn off for me, personally. If I bought it anywhere else I would have the option to cut that down to the two or three I really wanted to keep. I could also edit some of the other files to my liking. I can’t do that with a Marketplace purchase. The only exception I made was for the Sting S4 which I would happily pay for again in a heartbeat if it was sold somewhere else tomorrow. But that one just has a few extra liveries which I can cope with

im out if its only available on the marketplace as well
i didnt mind lots of variants originally, and while im not a fan now thats more a problem of Asobo’s making rather than the individual devs.
it was fine when all variants were grouped together under a common airframe in the aircraft selection menu (with options such as floats , bush tires, ice skates or whatever selected much the same way as liveries are)
now with every variant being displayed as a unique airframe in the menu, i wish there was a way to cull unwanted versions

There are many people who have serious issues, techincal and ethical with the marketplace and the way it’s setup and run.
I can’t say I’m exactly pleased that it will be the only place to get this and quite possibly won’t buy it until it’s reduced in a sale down to a price that IMO reflects the problems with marketplace purchases.

As you can see: initally ingame Marketplace only. It might come to other stores later, but nothing is planned yet (aka not in the forseeable future).

Can’t argue with that. Marketplace it is then. Earlier the huge backlog was reason enough to avoid MP but wait times have come down drastically, I know I’ll not be put off.

I’m ok with it being on MP exclusively and will get it.
I will not be happy if, after half a year or so it is sold somewhere else in addition. Not happy at all.

That’s exactly what they’re saying they might do. Why would you not be happy?
Ok, I didn’t know they said that, missed it.
So I will wait until it’s available elsewhere. That’s ok. But it would be bad if I would get it from MP thinking it will never show up in another store and then exactly that happens.

Wait times are most likely to go UP, since they’ve blocked submissions for a week and counting.
They won’t just down tools waiting for the fix but will still be busy getting them ready for release - I’d say net delay shouldn’t differ greatly unless your mod happened to be near the front of the queue.
I’ve loved everything Got Friend’s has done but I cannot get behind buying this on the marketplace. I would wish y’all the best but I know you’re gonna get record sales wherever you release so I’m just gonna go ahead and say well done and congratulations. If/when it’s released outside of the marketplace I’ll throw all my money at y’all

Important question is if aircraft files will be unlocked for modding? If yes, I might supress my hatred for marketplace and buy it here. If locked like Carenados planes, then thats a big no.

MP means XBOX and PC for one price! And a plane that is hard to crack. I get it. I get why folks don’t like that. But I get it.
