For me I don’t need an AP, but I simply love how connected you are with your userbase. And, as AP’s go, that’s one implementation of it I can tolerate

A/P is always optional. You can simply not use it.

i’m talking about visual cockpit implementation.
Autopilot will NOT be available visually or digitally on the PZL-104 Wilga 35A.
Autopilot WILL be available on the PZL-104 Wilga 80 Bush Varient in a very simple form. Visually and digitally, you will only be able to hold bank and hold pitch. It’s less of an autopilot and more of an automatic trim option for those who enjoy more of an off-hand experience.
If someone wants FULL automation, they can simply turn on Co-Pilot Assistance from the top toolbar and navigate to waypoints using Asobo’s built in features on either aircraft.

I wouldn’t quite that far, but this plane has definitely been creeping from “Do I need another VFR 100 knot stick plane?” to “Yeah I think I need to buy this”. The devs have done good job hyping up, whether they also did good at expectations management remains to be seen I guess.

i prefer warbirds for opportunity they give me in the air. as aerobatic. but bush planes it’s all about scenery. if you can found looking perfect islands, mountains, creepy dessert like in australia there can fly any way long time with any slow stuff. i guess in real life you can do that everywhere, because in real life you can found so many details around. that will looks any way cool and hot and everything you want. like people cars trains animals much much more than in msfs. never do that in real but can imagine it ez:) once time i has a dream i flight in mini airplane in my flat from room to room up and down. and then i found game airfix dogfighter. once time i thinking about arrow watch with 24hourse cycle, and my mom brought it, i never told about this. same was with 4x4 rules wheels car. i don’t get it but couple a day and i seen that on tv. lol. when i remember that things i think to my self i have to be very careful with my mind and thinking only about good stuff hahaha… so now i have to stop thinking about flying because i have very bad vestibula ughahahaha… any way. i hate big airliners. don’t hate actually, just at another ga/warbirds background i don’t see any sense to rule that multi ton drama in the sky. just wanna c-17 and an-72 thinking about buying ba 146. and thinking about woody fighter. forgot how that british girl …ah… mosquito. yes. must be soon some kind lord create her for us:)
I think basic AP is nice… if you need to grab a snack or drink or something mid flight.

any or almost any aircraft have minimum - rudder and elevator trims. with that and set right gas and prop you can left controls for minute or forever if give some little correction. you remember me my mom and me. long time ago i flight and fight red baron v3 if you drop stick ac will kiss the ground very fast. so i said my mom take ac level i go some water drink or something like that. when i back she take joystick and arcraft was broken on the ground. i ask her. what are you doing? she said - i take joystick stand as you said… so actually if i had ffb joy probably i back and could stay flight. or if in ww1 period was trims i could set level trim and go drink. so. any way if you got trims for rudder and elevator you just don’t need autopilot for get some brake
p.s. when i flew wilga in p3d i has a feeling she fly itself and i just some push for change direction. strange stuff is. i felt it all the time i flight. but in wilga p3d i first notice that after many years of flight simulators. i think this one will same
I’m very excited about this aircraft. In fact, it was the first airplane I ever in my life! My dad took me to field next to Hostomel airport (in Ukraine). Too bad I haven’t had chance to fly in my pilot career yet, but who knows LOL
I have perfect solution for autopilot. Keep it authentic and don’t include autopilot. However, you can always can have AI co-pilot who can simply hold heading, altitude. It would relieve a lot of pain during cross country.
However, In case you want to make Draco it did had retrofitted servos with autopilot!
