I just completed my 2nd VR flight from KROC (my home airport) to CYYZ via VFR around the shores of Lake Ontario. Absolutely beautiful aircraft! Its worth every penny of its price tag and I hope @GMVitus and Wing 42 make a fortune from this.

So do the engines actually go on firewall, with flames, smoke, etc? Pictures then please! 
I have her installed, but parked in the hangar until Honeycomb replaces my throttle quadrant. I’ll be watching videos and reading manuals until then. I guess I can at least load it up and practice cold/dark starts too. What a beauty.
Also, if anyone here hasn’t, make sure you read ‘Fate is the Hunter’ by Ernest K Gann. From memory he spent a lot of time flying the DC-2/3 and C-87s rather than 247, but much of the sense of adventure is the same.

Not sure what I am doing wrong but I am actually struggling to break the 247… never thought I’d say that!
I had watched a few streams beforehand but so have a lot of people. I fired both engines up first time and did a little flight by the book - then I thought I’d see if I could cause a ‘misadventure’. Closed the cooling and threw the throttles forward and eagerly awaited the chaos…
She flew for 20 minutes completely firewalled at various aggressive altitudes and attitudes including inverted.
I am jealous of all the breakages people are having and will try a reinstall. All MSFS settings are full realistic with the dreaded FM set to Modern - I need to set these engines on fire!
Other than my struggles to break the engines she is stunning. I love how she wallows around in the sky and has a real feeling of mass.

Oh my God - first load into a cold and dark cockpit and I hear a faint clock ticking. And I can tap on the instruments with needles moving…
