The concept of the avatar has always been rather absurd, lacking both natural design and realistic movements. It’s utterly pointless and ridiculous.
My assumption here is that there may be cosmetic items on the Marketplace at some point. Not quite to the degree of The Sims, but I can see some folks wanting to make their avatars look better.
