I didn’t know about this issue before. I just found out since FBW A320 and toolbar pushback seems to be not compatible (sadly). When I used Toolbar Pushback, baggage and stairs didn’t disconnect until I decide to do so (which was great). But, using the FlyByWire EFB pushback service, made me face this problem. Isn’t there a way to stop very short disconnections of baggage and stairs? Thank you.

I know how to fix it. Firstly it mostly happens to ppl on PC, basically if you download the toolbar Pushback mod there will be an option to ‘prevent stairs from leaving’ button.
You telling me this is still going on after almost 3 years, and no one has addressed the issue? or did I miss the post? Regardless, the Ramp stairs connection is still disconnecting after 30 seconds.
And no a 3rd party Toolbar Pushback app is not a solution. This is an in-sim problem that needs to be fixed.

The mod fixes the problem. That is the very definition of a solution.
I view that as a Band-Aid to a wound that isn’t healing.
You didn’t remove the stain, you just covered it over with paint.
Keep in mind that not everyone has access to mods.

Especially since the mod in question hasn’t been updated in 2 years and there are a bunch of reports of performance issues and incompatibilities. Would be lovely to see this fixed/refined in sim

There certainly are a few problems with it at the moment but it does still work; the problems it has don’t make it unuseable. It’s great that you can preplan your pushback so you can attend to starting the engines and whatnot.
The map doesn’t seem to zoom out any more but you can get round that by simply scrolling the map. And there’s an incompatibility with level42’s excellent Flow thingy; you can’t disable the standard menu bar.
But otherwise, I get along fine with it.
Catering and baggage handling is too fast. Ramp stairs disconnect after 1 minute?..You don’t have the option of using GSX on the Xbox. Unfortunately you have to put up with this when flying with the Xbox. I never understood why Asobo did it this way. Don’t they fly in the simulator themselves? I don’t think the MSFS 2024 will be any different. Otherwise they would have advertised it in a big way.
