I wanted to remove pilot and copilot from the external view from the TBM 930. I was succesfull by just removing the [PILOT] section from the aircraft.cfg.
But now only the seatbelts are stil active and straight up, like are still holding the now invisble pilot and co-pilot bodies. So they do not rest on the seat like in the internal cockpit view. See this picture:
Hi @NL40Pilot
Try edit the flightsimulator.cfg in the local cache folder
There is a line
See self = 1 change this to See self=0
This should hide the pilot and co pilot
But this is for all planes
Thanks for the idea, tried it, but did not work. Any other ideas? I did remove the pilots earlier by deleting the pilot section from the aircraf.cfg. But see the picture above, I cannot get the seatbelts to return to the normal resting position on the seat. So if you have any idea what controls those seatbelts, that also could be the solution.
My knowledge on this is to limited but here is what i would do
If this is shaped this way in the model of the internal aircraft than it is static and thus pre- shaped
i think so i guess you would remodel this with blender or such. But i do not know if this would be possible. Maybe it is possible to ask this in the sdk section of the forum or elsewhere like youtube, to people who are devellopers of aircraft, or elsewhere like discord which have sdk discussions often these people are willing to point out some direction and maybe they can shed some light on this for you.
But maybe it is less complicated than what i suggest. Though i find your topic has very valid point to me.
Maybe the model does NOT animated seat belts, that can be put in the No-Pilot Position, or, if the model does, just removing the co-pilot does not evoke the non-pilot seat belt model position ?
I don’t know guys, but it all seems to much like programmer work. It all sounds too difficult for me. If anyone has a simple solution, please let me know. Thanks for the effort. Greetings, Boudewijn
