I have installed the update four times and still getting the notice that the download is required. I uninstalled the sim and I am still getting the notice. Has anyone else experience this problem?

After you downloaded it, did you go to the Content Manager and install it?
Good morning. I completed the Content Manager installs immediately after the update.
Are you starting the sim in Administrator mode?
I did not initiate Admin mode when the last request for update appeared. Strangely after the request for the update appeared the drive that hosted the sim was missing approximately 115 gbs of data. Going to check my event files to see if something is deleting the sim.
Was the update somehow installed to a different location?
Are the sim files “Read Only”
Did you subscribe to the beta test for the last update? If so, it could be related to it still thinking you are downloading the beta.
No the installed was to the same location. I was able to successfully start the sim earlier this morning.
No I not a beta tested. I thought initially, it was the World Updated scheduled for the end of this year but unfortunately it was the update that came out earlier this month (1.21.18.0).
Strange one, I was using the sim last night without issue. I tried a copy of minutes ago and it says “the parameter is incorrect”
Restarted the PC and it was fine again. Assume you’ve tried a restart?

im having the same issue but to update 1.21.18.0
im having to update to the same version every single time I start the sim.
hopefully someone knows how to fix this…
