I use Microsoft Store version of MSF under Windows 11. Every tenth day or so, when I start the simulator I must install a complete upgrade, although I already have the upgrade version installed. Obviously the simulator looks for some files when I start the simulator that it finds is missing and therefore commences an upgrade. What is missing? Can anyone give me a hint?
Before you let the sim update itself, click the Browse button and make sure it points to the place where your Packages folder is.
Underneath it there must be at least two folders: Official (the one it’s about to download to) and Community (where your add-ons are found). If there is no Official, or if it’s empty, it’ll download the whole thing again.
Thank you for your tip. I will try it next time. Although I have the community folder and the official folder in place.
There will be an update around 8AM PST.
seem to have it already @ 10:45am Eastern …
What exactly should have changed in this update ??
From my understanding, it’s the same as the current SU7 Post Beta but will include the new AIRAC data.
Hello again. Now the same procedure happend again. The path to the folders Community and Official is correct. Though the path begins with C:\user and in my swedish variant of Windows the path begins with C:\användare, the swedish word for user. (And it is not changeable.) But if that is the reason, the simulator would download itself everytime i start the game, but that is not the case. The download is random. I am a little confused.
