Replace pitot cover and heli blade pockets after shutdown?

I’m flying Cabri G2 cold and dark start ups, doing the walkaround to remove the pitot cover and blade pockets, then getting into the bird to perform the startup checklist and fly.

When I land and shutdown, I can pop the door and exit, but cannot figure out how to replace the pitot cover and blade pockets.

Anyone figured out how to replace the pitot protective cover and blade pockets after shutdown?

No such option at the moment, see related wish: Let me place all the covers and such back in when I complete my flight in free and career modes

You can likely do it via sim connect. I have created single button push pre-flight skipping functions for a few aircraft so far because the click spots are just so un-reliable so there’s no reason why you can’t do the reverse at the end of the flight.

I wish career mode gave me the option to end the mission after shutdown, sometimes I want to get out and see the destination airport for a bit.

The marked solution is just saying it can’t be done, which is surely no solution at all. I provided a way that it can be done.

No you did not provide a way - you said there is no reason it cannot be done - you did not prove it can be done, nor explain with enough detail to show you have replaced the pitot cover and heli blade pockets on the Cabri G2.

And if your “no reason it can’t be done” solution is that I have to learn to install and configure some developer tool, to connect a button on my VKBsim joystick to some unspecified deep in the bowels of MSFS2024 setting, then I’m still going to choose the “no such option at this time” response as the solution to my posted question (and they provided backup info - a link to the MSFS2024 Wishlist entry)

So you want a solution where you don’t have to do any of the research or work yourself. I pointed you towards the solution if you don’t want to investigate that then it’s your choice to miss out. In the meantime I shall continue to enjoy the benefits of it.
