Very good I’m happy
I was wondering why I’m getting a trillion email notifications about something 787, turns out its my own thread.
This thread of mine has been merged into this thread by community support.
However, I have confirmed that this issue is still unresolved even after the update; the APU still shuts down after 3 minutes. (747-8)
I am concerned that with the 787 issue resolved, this thread will be closed and this 747 issue of mine will be overlooked.
You probably have the same problem with your 747 as others have with their 787s. You likely have an old version of the plane. This is such a joke at this point. What’s the point of the forums and reporting bugs if the posts aren’t acknowledged and worked on? Frustrating…
Ok, could try once. Started a test flight.
Quit the game
Restarted and… Couldn’t hit the “Fly” button, couldn’t choose a departure (map or dropdown menu), coudn’t change airplane…
I’m getting sad.
To follow this king of issue, it seems to be linked to the new 1.14.5.0 update : Discussion: Sim Update 3 (1.14.5.0) - #420 by Thoradan1974
Hope you having fun guys.
Uninstalled whole MSFS, downloading 154.65 GiB again. Let’s see tomorrow
No.
I updated from the content manager and 747-8 version is 0.1.70.
And deleted it once and re-downloaded it, but the version number is the same.
Please try it. (at 747-8)
Start the APU with main tank #2 empty, it will shut down after about 3 minutes after the APU Gen is Avail.
I know that the APU needs fuel to run for a long time, but 3 minutes is too short, isn’t it?
