Resolution versus Render Scaling

To reduce resolution:

  • open MSFS
  • go to “Options”
  • go to “General”
  • under the default “Graphics” tab look for “Full screen resolution” and click on the numbers
  • select a different resolution
  • hit “ok”
  • hit “apply & save”
