OK, I got it to start decompressing and got past the place where it dumped. I am currently downloading the update and will see how far I can get. Here is what I did.
1Even if you have the UNITED STATES ENGLISH PACK already installed, click REMOVE. Nothing looked like it happened but I am not sure if this did anything so I included it here.
I have AVG (YES…Microsoft) anti virus. I turned it totally off. Even tho I had an exception listed for MSFS, I just totally shut it down. I then repaired the sim in MS Store. Clicked on the BASE INSTALL, not the Deluxe Edition and when I selected update, it decompressed all the files it had downloaded. Not sure how long this will last. Stand by!
