Resource Usage Exceeds GPU Capacity message

Thank you for your explanation but I think everybody knows what this message means. The problem is it pops up randomly even if sim is running smoothly. For end user it doesn’t matter what is happening under the hood of the sim if it works.

I must add that I am happy what I can squeeze from my pc but… In my case it pops up just before I hit “ready to fly” in heavy scenery. Few second later vram usage stabilize and drops significantly. 99,9% of time I have stable 30fps as set and had no single ctd since day 0 so in my opinion this message is useless and annoying. It’s part of bigger picture. I don’t know, maybe Asobo should invest in UI specialists as interaction with sim is really ugly sometimes.

Already raised issue in other reports. Also my opinion that’s an useless message that randomly appears as popup in the middle of a flight and has no sense to me because I use FS in a high-end PC with ultimate specs on HW(system&graphics). Never encountered stutters or graphical anamolies while this ennoying message appears, so never needed to lower graphical settings.

It is a usesless message. For me it pops up on landing at about 200 feet. What the heck am I supposed to do with this information. Especially when my screen is looking smooth.

My thoughts are the message should be removed for the following reasons.

When users first install the SIM, it is the installation process that sets the graphics settings based on the systems resources. Presumably, if the install did its job correctly, this message would never appear, unless users went in and manually changed their default graphics settings. It is at that point, when users change and save their new graphics settings, a message could appear warning them that any changes can cause performance issues. So now, if they are hit with poor performance, they have already been warned so no need to have a message pop-up telling them what they already know.

My 2 cents…
