Restarting a flight in SU2 frequently leads to infinite loading requiring a sim reboot

After tweaking settings In the sim I’ve found that when live traffic is set to off I get the continuous loading screen when restarting a flight, when I turn traffic to live all flights are loading as normal ( quickly) just a heads up for anyone else.

I have live traffic always OFF so you could be onto something. I always do external traffic injection and never use base sim traffic. Not sure why it should matter, but definitely a clue if I can confirm that.

Try turning it on but setting your Air and Airport Traffic settings both to OFF in the sim Graphics settings. You’ll get fast second-flight loading but still have a nice empty airport and airspace for external traffic injection.

I’ll update: Sim Update 2 - Beta - 1.4.11 Once the first flight loads, there are almost no more problems. If you want to “restart” the flight or start any other flight, the loading process takes a very, very long time or it loads indefinitely. At the moment there is a solution that works for some. If you want to start a second flight you should set everything to “Live”.

For me, problem has disappeared with beta su 2 1.4.12

It’s been better for me of late and I’m not sure why. I’ve done a few restarts to check it too. I also have had default traffic toggled off as I’m using BATC to inject traffic.
