Return to windows after hitting fly

I need some help.

I’m running FS2020 (Steam, Windows 11, 64GB Ram i9 11900K, and GeForce RTX 3060.All updates and all scenery loaded. I’ve taken all community content out.

When I go to start a flight, everything works fine up to the point that I choose a plane and starting airport and hit Fly. The game hums along for a bit and then returns to the desktop with no error message.

Is there a log file I can consult? A Diagnostic tool to tell me something?

I did try doing a discovery flight and that did work.

I’m getting a feeling I have a corrupted data file somewhere…
