Revamped channel. A new Youtube personality is here, and the first video: Are you really ready for takeoff?

Thanks to everyone who have been checking out my videos. I’m raising the bar and joining the ranks of real airline pilots online. Have you met an airline pilot on Youtube that has their sleeves rolled up, and ready to work?

My new Youtube personality is here, as Jettalost, of the Jettalost Virtual Airline Academy. → Introducing Jettalost & the Jettalost Virtual Airline Academy.

My first video challenges flight simmers if they are really ready for takeoff. Come inside the flight deck and get taught by a real airline pilot on what it really means to be truly ready for takeoff. Learn more and be the better airline pilot in the flight sim universe. → Are you really ready for takeoff??

Thanks for watching!

Yes I have. His YouTube channel is V1 Simulations and he’s a real Airbus Captain. There are others out there as well.

Very knowledgeable, helpful and approachable guy that doesn’t appear to need a pseudo ‘personality’ to do what he does.

Thanks for pointing that out. I’m not an airbus pilot. I fly the 75/76.

I just checked out V1 Simulations

It’s very good, and I encourage anyone interested in learning more about aviation or the airlines to go ahead and do so, wherever that may be.

I may have to point out, that I haven’t seen a video on rejected takeoffs, or engine fires during takeoff - so that’s why I put my latest video out on the topic. If there is such a video, I would be interested in comparing notes.

As for my pseudo personality - it’s fairly close to my personality with the pilot uniform on. As a professional aviator, yes I have bravado - but I am always deferential, respectful to my customers (I even walk lost passengers to the right gate [if I have the time]), but above all else - I have a lot of fun doing what I do.

Those who fly with me, enjoy my approach to flying - as I am all business on the flight deck, and all about having a great time on the layover.

Again, thanks for pointing this out. In a couple years I will be a real A320 Captain, but for now I’m just an international pilot on the 75/76.
