today I found a new FW update for the Reverb G2.

I skipped the last FW update, but today I decided to update due to sometimes occuracy of black flickering.

What should I say, much improvement on my system.

R7 3700x
RTX2070S
32GB

OXR 100
TAA 70

nVidia driver 457.30

At the moment I fly the new Bush Trip from World Update 4.
The flights before the FW update had sometimes black screens, especially at the last landing.

Thats the reason why I decided to give the FW a try.

Improvements:

  • no black screens at all, wether while loading screen or during the flight
  • no black segements anymore, even if I move the head fast from left to right for example

I’m happy with version 15 Rev.A

  1. Connect your HP Reverb G2 to your system.
  2. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
  3. Browse to the location of the extracted files on the system and run USB Audio FW Update Tool_PID4C15_v15(2021-04-01)_HP_VR.exe.

Download fails with 404 Error:

Still getting 404s on all the hp download links

Strange, all links are working fine for me.
Did you tried to download it from another machine or via mobile connection?
