I purchased a second hand Reverb G2 in August, last year. Until January it worked flawlessly but then started to go black for some seconds, mainly before landing.
Then this happened more frequently and sometimes it was not recovered at all, just after restarting the sim. On my large screen the sim always continued to play the images as the G2 would work properly, without freezing. Finally, all went wrong, after one or two minutes of starting to play the sim the lenses went black and they did recover anymore.
I purchased the new “version 2” cable set, but that did not solve the problem. Sometimes the lenses go black after 1 or 2 minutes an did not recover until a new start up, sometimes I can play 20-30 minutes without blackout. I have now GTX 1080 video card and considering to upgrade to a better one, but as I see from the previous comments the problem could happen even with the most up-to-date cards?
