Reverb G2 is the cause of severe stutters and panning in 2D

Hi everyone,
When connected to PC, Reverb G2 is the cause of severe stutters and panning in 2D even before entering VR. When not connected to PC, sim work absolutely marvelous without any stutters or panning problem. I can even put LOD400 on the ground.

Anybody experienced something like this?

i9 9900k, 3080, 32gb, Win 11

Hey @Frankey1cro ,
do you have the v2 cable? Because there should be a button on the box where the HDMI cable for your HMD comes out. Press and hold that button until the white light on the box switched off. This is also disconnecting the HMD.

But to your problem: If you start WMR are there multiple displays in the display settings? If yes, you might have Preallocate virtual monitors enabled.
Do deactivate it follow this thread:

Hey there!

No, it is V1 cable :frowning:
Just look at RegEdit, the virtual monitor is already at “0”.

Is your windows power plan set to “high performance” or “ultimate performance”? If not, i suggest you use ultimate performance. If your power plan is on “balanced” or even “power saving” you will get stutters everywhere.

Ultimate performance. Did a clean reinstall on win11 last week.
What I can’t understand is that if G2 is disconnected from PC, sim works like charm. And when he is connected (even before I enter VR) it behaves totally differently. almost like even in 2D VR is somehow active and that is why 2D performance goes down the drain.

sry man, i have no others ideas atm

Thank you for trying
