Tested and working for all default a/c that use RT, including the TBM. Set up as this since msfs launch day.
-However I use the button on the bottom of Saitek lever, after the detent and use " Throttle decrease " Placing it here and leaving it there, puts the engine(s) into reverse thrust.
Note that each aircraft has a preset limit to reverse throttle % when using “throttle decrease” and each aircraft is different in that % limit.
It will not go to 100% reverse, which is unrealistic anyways.
Go to external view with hud for a quick peek at this happening ( or watch your gauges )
-Moving lever up and past the detent- it will come out of reverse and back to Idle thrust.
But you seem to be saying reverse is not working at, correct?
Test it:
Keyboard to default>press and hold the throttle decrease key ( don’t remember which one, sorry )
Now try with the custom keyboard, if you have one set.
Results?
As for reverse with out the button in use and having reverse in the lower “range” of the total lever movement, I can’t help there. You may need FSUIPC for that.
Try the throttle decrease method. I’m sure you’ll find it easier and a little more TTL than hunting for that “spot” on lever movement for reverse.
Or try setting the button to toggle as suggested by causual’s link.
To use that method:
Lever past the detent hitting the button>now move the lever forward(up) into reverse.
(up to 100% if memory is correct)
To come out of reverse, back down, past detent to “toggle off” and back up again, past the detent.
Attached is mine, but set up for the times I fly the 747. You could set up all 4 engines separately with 2 quads,
but it’s rare I fly the 47 at all-landing challenge only really…
NOTE: Saitek quad buttons 7,8,9 are the buttons below each levers detent, but not shown in the msfs control picture,
