This is a very intriguing product to me. Is there any noticeable performance hit when running this mod?

I’ve seen no performance difference between default trees and REX. I do see a performance hit (slight) when using the other seasons mod available.

Thank you!

Sort of tempted to still get this but part of me wants to wait for Asobo to bring seasons over.
Owned the other payware season mod but the performance is quite dreadful. Lost a good 10-15fps and no longer using it.

I’d strongly recommend getting this. Like you I have the “other” mod and ditched it.

Over the weekend I tried them both on after the other. Absolutely no FPS hit with AccuSeason, but I was down from 50pfs to 30fps with the “other” one. And with the terrain masking on it’s just so dark and miserable.

I have a stupid question.

I have only just purchased Accuseason and haven’t used it yet.

Is it the case that you don’t need to have the application running (following all the initial setup operations) in order for it to work? I have set it to automatic and to update daily.

Used to use REX weather and always had to run it and then start FS and then inject the weather etc etc. A laborious process that used to put me off using it every time.

Correct, no need to run it, it will inject the daily settings at a time of your choice, and then you can just close it before starting FS. Very easy to use.

Thanks, that’s great. So, it’s important that it’s NOT running when you start FS?

It doesn’t matter. You can leave it open, or close it. It will already have done its job at the time of your choice.

Hello Everyone.

I wanted to let all of you know that we recently updated AccuSeason to include an enhancement to one of our features, which has been asked for in this forum.

This enhancement is related to the daily system task that runs on AccuSeason to make sure you have the latest season files. When this feature was originally released, the task would run at 12pm based on our system time. We have now included the ability for you to choose the hour in the day for the task to be run. Below is a screenshot. Thank you all.

Hello everyone. Today we included some major changes for AccuSeason during our server update. As these changes are backend server-side, there is no need to update the AccuSeason application as they are already live.

CHANGELOG:

ENHANCED - Winter deciduous trees (the winter trees that look dormant as they display much less leaves than fully leaved trees) and corresponding scrubs and shrubs to display a more natural and darker tone for Automated Dynamic Seasons, as well as the Cold Snap and Dead of Winter presets.

ENHANCED - Vegetation in the December through February weekly updates to display darker green colors (which are more accurate to this region) during the automated weekly updates for Automated Dynamic Seasons within the Patagonia region in southern Argentina and Chile.

ENHANCED - Vegetation in the December through February weekly updates to display darker green colors (which are more accurate to this region) during the automated weekly updates for Automated Dynamic Seasons within the cities in Australia and New Zealand.

INCREASED - Variety of trees by adding a variation of pine trees within regions that contain both deciduous and conifer trees for Automated Dynamic Seasons.

ADDED - The weeks for February for Automated Dynamic Seasons, except the final week, which is when the Spring season starts to transition in WEEKLY. More to come soon!

Hi All. Been really busy the past few days getting things created for WEEKLY updates for Spring coming soon, but wanted to show some images of the improved colors that you will see in Patagonia right now based on the update a couple of days ago. Asobo/Microsoft have done a great job depicting southern Argentina and Chile and I hope you like the updated colors of the vegetation that AccuSeason provides.
