REX AccuSeason Released Today

Two things that I find utterly annoying in AccuSeason:

  1. The silly “birds and water” sound it makes when starting up. Why would you want to play a long and loud sound when you start an app? COuld this please be removed, or at least could we get an option to turn this off?

  2. The automation, that is used to automatically change the season. This just creates a Task Sheduler schedule. This would be fine if it wasn’t for the fact that 1) the darn “birds and water” sound is playing whenever the automation runs, 2) it opens AssuSeason, usually when I’m in the midst of something else, and 3) It doesn’t even close AccuSeason when it’s done. The only right way to do this would be a task that is silently starting in the background without the GUI popping up and annoying sounds playing.

As above I’ve asked about these things it’s potentially going to get looked at at some point they’ve said to add closure or update in background.

Hopefully some startup options will get added at some point for silent update, update at start-up, update in the background or close down after updating at least.

For what it’s worth; as soon as the sound started playing, I muted the app in the windows volume mixer. It retains that setting, so I’m not bothered with any sound anymore.

Still have to manually close the app after it’s done its thing though.

Hi All. Here is a video we just posted that shows the weekly change of vegetation colors starting with late summer, through autumn, and into winter.

Do the trees loose their leaves over winter?

Yes, hence the name “Accuseason”: in summer trees are green, autumn they turn brown and start to shed leaves, winter leaves go, spring they start growing back.

Cool thanks :+1:

Here is a video that shows the leaves growing back from winter into Spring. The video also shows the weekly transition of spring coloring, including spring floral vegetation, throughout that season and through summer as well.

Is the product worth to buy it? Thx for your infos

Yes it’s really good makes the world look more realistic especially with autumn arriving at least here in UK. Rather than having a static world.

Hello. Is the loss of SPF known during the S10 beta regulated?

IMO yes. Enjoying it right now with autumn colours. Very easy to set up. Just need to set automation up or set the week manually -a one click once a week thing. Can’t complain about the trees/colours/types/foliage they look lovely, you can even scale them in options.

I have a question, I bought Accu Season a few weeks ago through ORBX, do I get the latest update with the improved options through ORBX then…on ORBX I have not gotten an update yet…

Thanks for the feedback…

Hello, updates are made directly via the AccuSeason application. The latest version is:

6.1.2022.06.14

thank you, that means the new features come as an update directly through the AccuSeason Application…because I bought through ORBX…?

Yes, the AccuSeason application manages the updates itself. You know how to check if there is an update in the application settings. I also bought it via ORBX. It is mandatory to install the ORBX software to install AccuSeason. After installing AccuSeason, I uninstalled the ORBX software😅

sorry, that I have now not really understood…via ORBX I bought AccuSeason, installed and should I now uninstall the software again via ORBX…?

How comes the info that AccuSeason gets an update…?
When will there be a new update with the new features…which version will it be…?

I actually just wanted to understand when there is an update to the new features and how to get the update, then I can yes now in the ORBX app. AccuSeason uninstall…or?

Many thanks for your assist…

People who purchased AccuSeason on ORBX, are required to install the ORBX software to then download and install AccuSeason. There is no direct link to download and install AccuSeason as far as I know. After installing AccuSeason, I simply uninstalled the ORBX software which is of no use to me because AccuSeason runs alone. No need for ORBX to do the updates because the updates can be done directly in the AccuSeason options. The latest version is 6.1.2022.06.14

I tested this version with SU10 and everything works fine. No FPS loss.

There were issues with SU10 beta but with final version SU10 at home everything is ok.

Why do you want an update? Maybe I didn’t understand.

thank you very much, I had read here in the forum that AccuSeason should soon get new features, therefore my question when I can get the benefit of these features in the form of an update…?

I got a newsletter today and I thought it would be an Appl. Update…
