Strange thing my Nav 2 won’t align, but I set it up the same as Nav 1 which is fine. Any idea what I could be missing?
You could try a quick re-align:
As a quality-of-life addition in this simulation, it is possible to ‘fast align’ the IRS by quickly moving the IRS switch from OFF > ALN > NAV > ALN. Alignment will then be completed within 30 seconds of a position being entered into the FMS.
Right now, I’d probably just restart the flight, never had an issue with it myself.

If you have “state saving” enabled in EFB options, turn it off. If you ever exited the game or loaded C&D cockpit state during aligning process, you will never be able to complete the alignment because of a bug in the “state saving” feature.
fired this bird back up and it’s happening again, this time on the ground. as you can see Nav 1 was able to sync with the satellites, however Nav 2 refuses to align.
Any ideas?
Start the alignment knob in the “off” position.
Click to the right three times to get to “att:” and then immediately back to"nav".
The key is immediately back to nav.

just tried it we’ll see what happens.
UPDATE: it worked! i didn’t need to do that for Nav 1, is this a quirk of Nav 2?
No, they both should work that way!
huh, strange. yeah i definitely just turned both straight to Nav during startup from cold and dark. next time i’ll try them both your way and see if it works.
