Aug 2024 - CapSimCY over here - RKSI 16/34 runways are still not there as originally reported on this post. Just flew in for the first time ever to Seoul and followed navigraph and all stars and ILS for 16 and for my dismay on approach and final all pointed me to an empty brown field … went around for a second time hoping I was incorrect somehow and confirmed all was correct and the scenery was not. Made the approach to 15 and landed. Airport looks empty, missing elements in the jetways and just not pretty at all - I was very disappointed for my first visit to this international airport in FS2020 and not being able to enjoy the realism they have been making us all used to. Yes. All updates are done. Not an issue with addons nor system updates of any sort.

Note that this is bug-logged, so the devs are aware of the issue and has been successfully reproduced by their test team and turned into an official bug. The bug is now being assigned, prioritized, and worked on for a future fix.
However - my personal opinion here - I doubt at this point that this will be fixed until 2025, as I suspect all everyone in MSFS is focused on getting MSFS 2024 released on schedule in November.

End of 2024 still nothing. 2025? Nah why even bother, right Asobo?
Still not fixed as of March 8th, 2025. Landed on the brown field which was supposed to be runway 34L. GS still works though.
I’m assuming because it only has 10 votes at the time of this post and therefore isn’t that big of a priority. Also I’m assuming it’s not as simple as slapping down these runways and calling it done.
Before the release of FS2020 that was exactly what they said was so great about their AI system. I must say they added a lot of smaller airports and heliports in FS2024 probably using that technology but somehow they seem to have a problem with updating airports like this.
With a number of flaws (some major).
That’s step 2 in the process.
- Build a new airport/runway.
- Make it to Bing maps.
- Update Bing maps to FS. (once in every 2-3 years?)

Still missing lights for RW34L/R.
What’s odd is you can free flight start on those runways.
Also odd is that default Airline Passenger Transport intro mission is using these unlit runways.
Has RKSI already been fixed or is Asobo mainly busy with introducing game content? Well, maybe I’m one of the few people that actually flies to South Korea seeing the amount of replies in this topic.
