I’m speaking of cars and trucks on the roads… I see them at about 1500 ft when descending, but surely I should be seeing traffic at 2000ft or a little higher? Also I see traffic disappearing at various altitudes… is there a “best setting” for this?

I was flying at 32000 IRL from ICT-AUS the other day. You could clearly see the slow moving of large vehicles on the highways. I suspect this is set to an optimal level for performance based on LOD. Highly unrealistic as in reality you can see fast-moving traffic on interstates from high above when approaching an airport.
Take landing in EWR, for example. It is easy to see cars and trucks on I-95 as one flies about at 3,000 FT and then descends into the approach for 22R/L. In the simulator, however, it sometimes isn’t visible until I am about 1,000 feet, which is on a maybe 3-mile final.
I recall that in MSFS2024, there was a significant focus on road traffic—maybe its a 2024 to-do list item.
