As recently as 2020 (not sure if they were able to carry out their tours but the historical record bears this out) - some charter ops where you fly your own high-performance plane in a group flight crossed over the Bering - many points of exit were Osaka to Anadyr (Fuel Stop) to Petropavlovsk to Anchorage.
