How do you know itā€™s many people? I used to crash a lot before the patch and now iā€™m not. So for me a rollback would be bad.

A lot of bugs are fixed for me and it runs great. Maybe now other people have some new issues but deciding on a rollback should be based on numbers, not on the opinion of some people on the forums.

People with problems post on the forums, people without problems are not.

crashing on first contact on atc, uninstalled completley, re installed, still the same issue

Seeing good performance gains here. Also loving the improved wind. No CTDā€™s, although apart from when trying to fly to Keflavik I never had any anyway.

Most people arenā€™t having that issue so maybe you are doing something what other people are not? Have you changed your callsign to something?

counted 3 on the forums already with same issueā€¦and no all people is in the forums as you might know

The optimization and performance improvements are a welcome change, so I wouldnā€™t agree with a rollback. There are workarounds for a few of these bugs that make it flyable, although not entirely realistic - until thereā€™s a hotfix released

i dont want a rollback actually, i would like some words from asobo that they know of bugs gamebraking, not only my issue, and take out a hotfix

ā€˜Noā€™ vote from me on Rollback. I finally can fly the C208B and Baron 58. Dont you take that away from me.

They shouldnā€™t force the update on anyone. Or have a choice to rollback to the previous patch if someone is having issues.

i could fly both of those before, what was your issue?

I also have a lot of crash to desktop since 1.8.3.0
(CTD just after loading specific locations)

Reported the issue on Zendesk, they recommended me to disable temporarily Bing data and that did the trick for me.
Since I had been able to play around my home town fine (which does use Bing data photogrammetry) I believe the issue is on the server side sending garbage data.
My hometown area (which was probably cached) worked perfectly fine.

Hope they figure it out soon. Having photogrammetry built in is a key selling point of this sim.

Thanks , its work !!
its a good way, to continue flying

I agree, MS, do a Roll Back please.

Agreed. Major stuttering only AFTER the update. Also, the sensitivity options for controls are gone for me nowā€¦ they were there before.

I believe a lot of the issue were due to it being an ā€œUpdateā€ to an existing, and possible modified/corrupted previous install.

I installed the software for the 1st time about 1 week ago.
It ran ā€œwellā€ without any crashing etc (yes, there were functional ā€œBUGSā€)

When I updated yesterday, the sim became unstable, despite the fact that I had done very few changes/mods/addition.

I uninstalled, and re-installed, and was back to a stable sim ā€¦
A few corrections - a few additional bugs ā€¦ but still PROGRESS.

Attempting to ROLL back an unstable installation will just make thing worse,
I would suggest if you need to, you re-install (even if it takes all night)

If you want to see REAL CHAOS, have user trying to run different build of the software, and trying to use Multiplayer, or any addon products, and expect those thing to be compatible with all the varying build of FS2020 !!
Do this, and those 3rd part addon developer will never get their products to market @@

I will never spend a dollar on addons for a simulator with ramdom ctd again.
Developers are losing all my trust.
