I use rotary knobs to set heading bug and altitude, but to make them more functional it would be great if I could increase/decrease heading/altitude values according to the rotational speed of the knob. For example, 100ft of increment with slow rotation an 1000ft of increment with fast rotation. This is possible by default with the mouse wheel, so I think it would be possible with virpil hardware too, isn’t it?
Hello!
Your topic has been moved to the Tech Talk subcategory of General Discussion & Community Support for further assistance. The MSFS 2024 category is meant for all discussions relating to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
You may also wish to check out these other categories for your future posts:
- Aircraft
is where you discuss current or future planes coming to MSFS as well as assistance with liveries. - World
is where you discuss scenery, airports, and weather. - Aviate, Navigate, Communicate
is where you ask for help with flying. - Tech Talk
is where you discuss installation, graphics, drivers, performance, CTDs, peripherals, and hardware. - Menus & Activities
is where you discuss activities (landing challenges, bush trips, etc), plus anything accessed by the menus including the Marketplace, settings, logbook, cameras, etc.
It is not possible within MSFS. If you use an external program for control binding such as Spad.next it is possible to program some acceleration to the rotaries.
