I fried a couple of hard drives back in the day swapping EVGA power supplies… but not the cables. Pinouts on the accessory end are the same… but not on the PSU (same model just higher watts) Why… just… why? Also no mention of it anywhere in the box or instructions. There is not even a need to change the pin out locations so seriously… why EVGA… WHY? Yes, I’m still angry years later. Lost literally 1000’s of hours of school work.
