Got a weird problem. My rudder pedals have stopped working with the iFly Max. They work with all other aircraft. I had a problem a few weeks ago with the brakes locking up and went in and changed the profile. I then made more changes, created more profiles, made more changes, etc. Things snowballed. I’m sure I botched the profiles but I’ve gone back in, made sure that the rudder pedals are assigned to the rudder axis and their are no conflicts anywhere else. I also confirmed through the hardware settings that the pedals themselves are functional. Despite all this, I still can’t get the pedals to work when I load the MAX. I’m not an expert in this area, any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome.
Is this from cold and dark, or an on runway start?
Turnaround state. Aircraft is powered up, at the gate.
Often I have had to completely uninstall and reinstall the ifly 737 from scratch to get it working again.
yeah, I think I’m going to have to go that route. Should I delete all of my profiles or wait to see how the reinstallation goes?
Thats what works for me
I’m just following up on the post above. I’m at wit’s end with the rudder pedals no longer working. I finally deleted the MAX and reinstalled, hoping that would fix the problem. No luck. I’ve got my Thrustmaster pedals assigned as the rudder axis (Axis Z) and there are no conflicts with other devices. Still the rudder pedals are motionless. They work in the Fenix and all other 2024 aircraft. It’s almost like they are somehow locked out by the sim. Is there some iFly setting that I may have triggered to disable them? I’ve got toe brakes set up and in the sim, the pedals aren’t delfecting when I apply toe brakes. I also then set up the rudder axis for my joystick’s twist function. Still no motion from the pedals in the sim.
Any assistance / suggestions is very much appreciated!
Not sure but two things to check:
The towing lever pin in the pushback menu in the EFB.
or the Independent nose wheel steering also in the EFB.
Crossing fingers!
I got it sorted out (for now, lol). No idea what the fix actually was. Just kept messing with the control profiles until all of a sudden the pedals started to work again.
